Terms of Clearance: This information collection request is approved with the understand ing that this study is only a small component of a number of data collection efforts needed to understand the benefits and costs of recommended changes in the food labeling requirements. Specifically, FDA has agreed to initiate a project that will enable FDA to estimate the benefits of changes in food labeling.

Abstract: LABELING COSTS, NUTRITIONAL LABELING, LABEL INITIATIVES, FOOD LABELIN THE PROPOSED SURVEY WILL SERVE AS A BASIS FOR PROVIDING A MORE ACCURAT ESTIMATE OF THE COST FOR FOOD LABELING.
