Terms of Clearance: In accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act and 5 CFR 1320, this information collection is approved provided that two conditions are observed: 1) this information may be collected only on a voluntary basis after January 12, 1990, unless Congress extends the authority in 13 USC 91 prior to the date the information is requested, and 2) the Census Bureau shall render all feasible assistance to any respondent company affected by major financial changes (e.g., mergers, buy outs, or consolidations) to assure that the effect of such changes will be accurately reported in the quarter during which they occur.

USERS INCLUDE: COMMERCE DEPARTMENT (GNP), FEDERAL RESERVE BOARD (FLOW OF FUNDS), AND THE COUNCIL OF ECONOMIC ADVISORS. THE DATA ARE COLLECTED FROM A SAMPLE OF MANUFACTURING, MINING, AND TRADE CORPORATIONS.
