Abstract: NRC WILL CONDUCT A MAIL, TELEPHONE, OR SITE VISIT SURVEY OF GENERAL LICENSEES UNDER 10 CFR PART 31 TO VERIFY WHAT DEVICES ARE IN THEIR POSSESSION, TO VERIFY COMPLIANCE WITH NRC REGULATIONS, AND TO DETERMINE THE UTILITY OF A FORMALIZED MAIL SURVEY PROGRAM. NRC WILL ALSO CONDUCT A SURVEY OF CERTAIN SPECIFIC LICENSEES TO DETERMINE THEIR SOURCE/DEVICE INVENTORY.
