Abstract: EACH QUARTER, EVERY U.S. BRANCH OR AGENCY (OF A FOREIGN BANK) WITH MORE THAN $30 MILLION IN TOTAL DIRECT CLAIMS ON FOREIGN RESIDENTS IS REQUIRED TO REPORT INFORMATION ON ITS EXPOSURE TO ITS HOME COUNTRY AND TO FIVE OTHER COUNTRIES TO WHICH ITS EXPOSURES IS LARGEST AND AT LEAST $5 MILLION FOR AN INDIVIDUAL COUNTRY. THE DATA ARE USED FOR SUPERVISORY PURPOSES.
