Abstract: THERE ARE NO PRACTICAL METHODS FOR ANALYZING FOOD TO DETERMINE WHETHER THE SAFE DOSE OF IRRADIATION TREATMENT HAS BEEN EXCEEDED. RECORDS INSPECTION IS THE ON WAY TO DETERMINE WHETHER FIRMS COMPLY WITH THE REGULATION AT PRESENT. THERE IS NO FOOD IRRADIATION BUSINESS, BUT THE REGULATION IS PERMISSIV IN NATURE.
