Abstract: THIS RECORDKEEPING REQUIREMENT AFFECTS CERTAIN CABLE TV SYSTEMS TRANSMITTING IN THE AERONAUTICAL COMMUNICATIONS AND NAVIGATION BANDS. THE INFORMATION IS USED BY FCC PERSONNEL TO PREVENT, LOCATE AND ELIMINATE HARMFUL INTERFERENCE AS IT OCCURS, TO ASSURE SAFE OPERATION OF AERONAUTICAL AND MARINE RADIO STATIONS AND TO MINIMIZE INTERFERENCE TO THESE SAFETY-OF-LIFE SERVICES.
