OWNERS/OPERATORS MUST NOTIFY EPA OF ROUTINE MAINTENANCE OF ADD-ON POLLUTION CONTROLS IN ORDER TO EXEMPT EMISSIONS DURING MAITENANCE FROM THE STANDARDS. OWNERS OR OPERATORS CHANGING GLASS MELTING FURNACES TO OR FROM A MODIFIED-PROCESS MUST NOTIFY EPA.
