Abstract: THE DEFENSE PRODUCTION ACT OF 1950 REQUIRES THE SECRETARY OF DEFENSE TO DEVELOP WITH INDUSTRY PLANS FOR PROCUREMENT AND PRODUCTION OF SELECTED MILITARY EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES NEEDED TO FULFILL EMERGENCY REQUIREMENTS.
