Abstract: THE 1990 CENSUS LOCATION REPORT, FORM D-47, IS USED IN CONJUNCTION WIT MARITIME ENUMERATION. THE SHIP'S CAPTAIN DISTRIBUTES THE SHIPBOARD CENSUS REPORTS TO EACH OFFICER, CREW MEMBER, AND PASSENGER ABOARD THE VESSEL AND COMPLETES FORM D-47. THE CENSUS BUREAU USES THE INFORMATIO ON FORM D-47 TO ASSIGN INDIVIDUALS ABOARD SHIP TO THE APPROPRIATE CENS GEOGRAPHY FOR THE 1990 CENSUS.
