Abstract: FOCUS GROUP INTERVIEW AND LAB TESTING SESSIONS ARE NECESSARY TO OBTAIN PUBLIC INPUT ON SOME MAJOR TAX FORMS THAT HAVE BEEN REVISED OR ARE NEW FOR 1989. THE RESULTS WILL BE USED TO FURTHER SIMPLIFY AND IMPROVE THE FORMS SO THAT TAXPAYERS WILL MORE EASILY UNDERSTAND THEM.
