Abstract: STATUTORY REQUIREMENTS UNDER THE TRADE ACT OF 1974 AS AMENDED REQUIRE COMPLETE AND ACCURATE BUSINESS CONFIDENTIAL DATA IN ORDER TO MAKE DETERMINATIONS AS TO WHETHER IMPORTS HAVE CONTRIBUTED TO WORKER SEPARATION. THE SECRETARY OF LABOR'S DETERMINATIONS DECIDE IF PETITIONING WORKERS ARE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR WORKER ADJUSTMENT ASSISTANCE.
