Abstract: DURING THE CONTRACT CLOSEOUT PROCESS, THE NRC REQUIRES THE CONTRACTOR TO EXECUTE A GENERAL ASSIGNMENT, ASSIGNING TO THE GOVERNMENT ALL RIGHTS, TITLES, AND INTEREST TO REFUNDS, REBATES, CREDITS OR OTHER AMOUNTS ARISING OUT OF CONTRACT PERFORMANCE AND CERTIFY THAT A CORPORATE OFFICIAL IS EMPOWERED TO MAKE THE ASSIGNMENT. THE CONTRACTOR UTILIZES NRC FROM 450 TO MAKE SUCH ASSIGNMENTS.
