Abstract: AMONG THOSE RESPONSIBL FOR HEALTH POLICY, THERE IS CURRENTLY GREAT DEMAND FOR DATA ON THE DYNAMICS OF LONG-TERM-CARE USE. THE NATIONAL NURSING HOME FOLLOWUP SURVEY IS A COST-EFFECTIVE MEANS OF OBTAINING DATA ON THIS TOPIC. THE SURVEY DESIGN TARGETS FOR RE-INTERVIEW APPROXIMATELY 6500 RESPONDENTS TO THE NATIONAL NURSING HOME SURVEY.
