Abstract: THE REGULATION WILL AMEND 24 CFR PART 885 WHICH GOVERNS PROJECTS THAT RECEIVE DIRECT LOANS UNDER SECTION 202 OF THE HOUSING ACT OF 1959 AND HOUSING ASSISTANCE UNDER SECTION 8 OF THE UNITED STATES HOUSING ACT OF 1937. THE PROPOSED RULE WOULD ADD REGULATORY PROVISIONS TO GOVERN THE HOUSING ASSISTANCE PAYMENTS CONTRACT, PROJECT OPERATIONS AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT.
