Abstract: SECTION 73.1840 REQUIRES THAT ALL BROADCAST STATIONS RETAIN STATION LOGS FOR A PERIOD OF TWO YEARS, UNLESS OTHERWISE INSTRUCTED BY FCC. THIS LOG IS USED BY THE PUBLIC AND THE COMMISSION FOR INSPECTION TO DETERMINE IF STATION IS OPERATING IN ACCORDANCE WITH STATION LICENSE AND FCC RULES AND REGULATIONS.
