Abstract: THE 1988 "DRESS REHEARSAL" PROGRAM IS UNDERTAKEN TO IMPLEMENT THE 1990 DECENNIAL CENSUS PROCEDURES UNDER AS NEAR CENSUS-LIKE CONDITIONS AS POSSIBLE. THE CENSUS BUREAU WILL EMPLOY THE FULL ARRAY OF DATA COLLECTION AND PROCESSING TECHNIQUES IT INTENDS TO USE IN 1990. RESPONDENTS WILL BE RESIDENTS OF ST. LOUIS MISSOURI, EAST CENTRAL MISSOURI, AND EASTERN WASHINGTON.
