Abstract: THE DD FORM 149 ALLOWS AN APPLICANT TO REQUEST CORRECTION OF A MILITARY OR NAVAL RECORD. IT PROVIDES ACTIVE SERVICEMEMBERS AND FORMER SERVICE PERSONNEL WHO FEEL THEY HAVE SUFFERED AN INJUSTICE AS A RESULT OF THEIR MILITARY SERVICE AND DESIRE TO FILE AN APPEAL.
