Abstract: QUESTIONNAIRES FOR TWO NCHS SURVEYS (NATIONAL HEALTH INTERVIEW SURVEY AND NATIONAL HEALTH AND NUTRITION EXAMINATION SURVEY) WILL BE DEVELOPE USING LABORATORY METHODS WHICH COMBINE THE TECHNIQUES OF COGNITIVE RESEARCH AND SURVEY RESEARCH TO REDUCE MEASUREMENT ERRORS. A QUESTIONNAIRE FOR SELF-REPORTING OF HANDICAPS WILL ALSO BE STUDIED IN THE LAB.
