Abstract: MANUFACTURERS OF NEW LIGHT-DUTY VEHICLES/LIGHT-DUTY TRUCKS SUBMIT ASSEMBLY-LINE EMISSION TEST DATA TO EPA. EPA THEN USES THE INFORMATION TO SELECT ENGINE CLASSES TO BE TESTED DURING SELECTIVE ENFORCEMENTS AUDITS (SEA'S) WHICH ARE CONDUCTED THROUGHOUT EACH MODEL YEAR. THIS DATA ENABLES EPA TO DETERMINE EMISSIONS CONFORMITY OF NEW LIGHT-DUTY VEHICLES AND TRUCKS.
