Abstract: THIS NOTICE PROPOSES TO AMEND THE PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICE RULES ON HEALT MAINTENANCE ORGANIZATIONS. THESE AMENDMENTS WOULD CLARIFY CERTAIN PROVISIONS IN THE HMO AMENDMENTS OF 1981 (P.L. 97-25) AND EXPAND IN A NUMBER OF RESPECTS ON THE REGULATIONS PUBLISHED ON MAY 5, 1982. THE INFORMATION IS NEEDED TO APPROVE FACTORS UNDER COMMUNITY RATING BY CLASS.
