Abstract: A CEILING IMPOSED BY THE PRESIDENT ON MARCH 7, 1986, (P. L. 99-255) RAISES THE CEILING APPLICABLE TO TOTAL DOLLAR VOLUME OF LOANS THAT MAY BE GUARANTEED BY VA IN FY 1986. THIS CEILING, $18.2 BILLION, WAS ALSO REDUCED BY 4.3 PERCENT TO COMPLY WITH GRAMM-RUDMAN-HOLLINGS SEQUESTRATION ORDER (P. L. 99-177). INFORMATION BEING COLLECTED IS NECESSARY IN ORDER TO ASSURE THAT THE AMOUNT OF VA GUARANTEED LOANDS
