Abstract: ATF REQUIRES THAT WINE ON WINE PREMISES THAT IS TREATED WITH ACTIVED CARBON OR A SIMILAR DECOLORIZING MATERIAL BE IDENTIFIED AND SPECIFIC RECORDS BE MAINTAINED. ATF USES THIS INFORMATION TO VALIDATE TAXES DUE THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT AND TO ENSURE INTEGRITY OF THE WINE PRODUCT FOR CONSUMER PROTECTION.
