Abstract: SECTION 6039C REQUIRES RETURNS BY CERTAIN PERSONS WITH RESPECT TO UNITED STATES REAL PROPERTY INTERESTS. PENALTIES ARE PROVIDED BY SECTION 6652(G) FOR NONCOMPLIANCE WITH THIS REQUIREMENT UNLESS DUE TO A REASONABLE CAUSE. THIS TEMPORARY REGULATION REQUIRES A WRITTEN STATEMENT TO ESTABLISH REASONABLE CAUSE. WE USE THE INFORMATION TO TO GRANT RELIEF.
