Abstract: BY IDENTIFYING AND REDUCING ERRORS IN STUDENT APPLICATION DATA IN THE TITLE IV STUDENT ASSISTANT PROGRAMS, THIS NPRM ENSURES THAT STUDENTS RECEIVE THE CORRECT AMOUNT OF ASSISTAN AND REDUCES THE COSTS TO THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT. THE NPRM SPECIFIES FOR INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION THE SELECTION OF APPLICANTS, ITEM TO BE VERIFIED AND ACCEPTABLE DOCUMENTATION.
