Abstract: REPORT COLLECTS INFORMATION ON THE OUTSTANDING BALANCES OF SELECTED BORROWINGS IN IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE FUNDS OF LARGE MEMBER BANKS (I.E., THOSE WITH TOTAL ASSETS OF $1 BILLION OR MORE AS 13/31.77). THIS REPORT, WHICH PROVIDES INFORMATION MAINLY ON FEDERAL FUNDS AND REPURCHASE AGREEMENTS, IS USED IN THE ANALYSIS AND FORMULATION OF MONETARY POLICY. LIMITED ADVANCE INFORMATION IS COLLECTED DAILY BY TELEPHONE (FR 2415A) FROM THE FIFTEEN LARGEST RESPONDENTS.
