Abstract: RULE 15BA2-1, ORIGINALLY ADOPTED OCTOBER 15, 1975, PROVIDES THAT AN APPLICATION FOR REGISTRATION WITH THE COMMISSION BY A BANK MUNICIPAL SECURITIES DEALER MUST BE FILED ON FORM MSD. THE INFORMATION REQUIRED TO BE DISCLOSED ON FORM MSD IS NECESSARY FOR THE COMMISSION TO DETERMI WHETHER OR NO REGISTRATION AS A MUNICIPAL SECURITIES DEALER SHOULD BE GRANTED.
