THEY ARE REQUIRED TO NOTIFY IRS OF ANY PLAN MERGERS, CONSOLIDATIONS OR TRANSFER OF PLAN ASSETS OR LIABILITIES TO ANOTHER PLAN. FORM 5310 IS USED TO MAKE THE REQUIRED NOTIFICATIONS AND THE REQUEST FOR A DETERMINATION LETTER.
