Abstract: EPA IS PROPOSING REVIESED AND STANDARDIZED FLARE REQUIREMENTS FOR STANDARDS HAVING PROVISION FOR USING FLARES AS CONTROL DEVICES. THE STANDARDIZED FLARE REQUIREMENTS WOULD BE ADDED TOT HE GENERAL PROVISIO OF PART 60. OWNERS OR OPERATORS OF SOURCES COMPLYING WITH REQUIREMENT FOR FLARES WOULD BE REQUIRED TO COMPLY WITH RECORDKEEPING AND REPORTING REQUIREMENTS ASSOCIATED WITH STANDARDS FOR THEIR SOURCE CATEGORIES.
