Abstract: THE NRC IS PROPOSING TECHNICAL AND FINANCIAL CRITERIA FOR THE SAFE AND TIMELY DECOMMISSIONING OF ALL LICENSED NUCLEAR FACILITIES. PROPOSE AMENDMENTS TO 10 CFR PARTS 30, 40, 50, 51, 70, AND 72 INCLUDE RECORDKEEPING AND REPORTING REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICANTS AND LICENSEES CONCERNING DECOMMISSIONING PLANNING NEEDS, TIMING, FUNDING MECHANISMS, AND ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW REQUIREMENTS.
