Abstract: THE REGULATIONS PROVIDE THE TIME AND MANNER OF MAKING CERTAIN ELECTIONS RELATING TO THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THE ECONOMIC PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENT. THE INFORMATION IS NEEDED AND WILL BE USED T ASSURE COMPLIANCE WITH THE EFFECTIVE DATE PROVISIONS. ALL ACCRUAL BASIS TAXPAYER THAT MAKE AN ELECTION ARE AFFECTED BY THE REPORTING AND RECORDKEEPING REQUIREMENTS OF THE REGULATIONS.
