Abstract: THE NOTICE OF PROPOSED RULEMAKING PROPOSES RULES WITH RESPECT TO ARBITRAGE EARNED ON NONPURPOSE OBLIGATIONS WITH RESPECT TO INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT BONDS. THE INFORMATION RECEIVED FROM GOVERNMENTAL ISSUERS OF THEIR BONDS WILL BE USED TO DETERMINE WHETHER PAYMENTS OF ARBITRAGE TO THE UNITED STATES ARE PROPER.
