Abstract: FIREARMS LICENSEES ARE REQUIRED TO KEEP CERTAIN RECORDS FOR THE LIFE OF THE BUSINESS. THE BUREAU NOW PROPOSES TO REDUCE THIS REQUIREMENT TO 20 YEARS FOR THOSE RECORDKEEPING ACTIVITIES IDENTIFIED IN THIS REQUEST.
