Abstract: EXPORTERS (GOVERNMENT AND NONGOVERNMENT) FILE SHIPPER"S EXPORT DECLARATION (SEDS) FOR SHIPMENTS FROM THE UNITED STATES. DATA REPORTE ON THE SEDS ARE USED TO COMPILE THE OFFICIAL U.S. EXPORT STATISTICS. THE NEW DATA ITEMS ARE BEING REQUIRED AT THE REQUEST OF DATA USERS. SECTIONS 301-307, CHAPTER 9, TITLE 13, UNITED STATES CODE, AUTHORIZE THE SECRETARY TO COLLECT EXPORT DATA.
