Abstract: RECORDS OF STRIP STAMPS/ALTERNATIVE DEVICES ARE USED TO COMPARE AGAINST RECORDS OF SPIRITS BOTTLED, VERIFYING TAX LIABILITIES. ITS USE AS AN ACCOUNTING TOOL THUS HELPS PROTECT THE REVENUE. ALSO USED TO ENSURE THAT BOTTLES CANNOT BE TAMPERED WITH AFTER BOTTLING WITHOUT LEAVING EVIDENCE, ALL BOTTLES MUST HAVE STAMP/DEVICE.
