Abstract: THIS FORM IS NECESSARY WHEN THE LICENSEE SEEKS RENEWAL OF INSTRUCTIONA TELEVISION FIXED STATION, RESPONSE STATION OR LOW POWER STATION LICENSE AND WHEN THE FCC REGARDS AN APPLICATION FOR RENEWAL OF LICENSE AS ESSENTIAL TO THE PROPER CONDUCT OF A HEARING OR INVESTIGATION AND SPECIFICALLY DIRECTS THAT IT BE FILED. THE INFORMATION WILL BE USED TO DETERMINE WHETHER THE APPLICANT HAS OPERATED IN THE PUBLIC INTEREST.
