Abstract: SECTION 73.1212 IN ADDITION TO REQUIRING SPONSORSHIP IDENTIFICATION THE STATION IS ALSO REQUIRED TO RETAIN A LIST OF THE EXECUTIVE OFFICER OR MEMBERS OF THE EXECTUVITE COMMITTEE, ETC., AND ALSO A LIST SHOWING THE NAME, ADDRESS AND TELEPHONE NUMBER OF EACH ADVERTISER. THESE REQUIREMENTS ARE DIRECTED BY SECTIONS 318 AND 508 OF THE COMMUNICATION ACT OF 1934, AS AMENDED. THIS INFORMATION IS USED TO PROTECT THE PUBLIC INTEREST.
