Abstract: SECTION 73.295 REQUIRES THAT FM COMMERCIAL FM LICENSEES MUST MAINTAIN DAILY SCA OPERATING LOG FOR THE MULTIPLEX SUBCARRIER TRANSMISSIONS EXCEPT THOSE FOR CONTROL AND DATA TELEMETRY FOR REMOTE CONTROL OR ATS OPERATION. LOG WILL INCLUDE SUCH THINGS AS: TIME SUBCARRIER GENERATOR IS TURNED ON. TIME MODULATION IS APPLIED TO SUBCARRIER, TIME MODULATI IS REMOVED FROM SUBCARRIER AND TIME SUBCARRIER IS TURNED OFF. THIS IS TO ASSURE COMMISSION GOOD ENGINEERING PRACTICES ARE MASS MEDIA BUREAU.
