Abstract: THE CENSUS OF AGRUCULTURE IS THE PRIMARY SOURCE OF STATE AND COUNTY DATA THAT HAS A UNIFORM DEFINITION. IT PROVIDES THE BENCHMARK DATA FOR THE AGRICULTURE SECTOR OF THE ECONOMY WHICH ARE USED TO BENCHMARK SAMPLE SURVEYS AND TO ANALYZE FARM POLICY AND PROGRAMS BY GOVERNMENT AS WELL AS NONGOVERNMENT.
