Abstract: THESE CENSUSES PROVIDE THE PRIMARY SOURCE OF DATA THAT HAS A UNIFORM DEFINITION IN EACH OF THESE GOVERNMENTAL AREAS. THEY PROVIDE THE BASIC DATA FOR THE AGRICULTURAL SECTOR OF THEIR ECONOMIES. THE DATA ARE ALSO USED TO ANALYZE THE EFFECTS OF FARM PROGRAMS AND POLICY TO MAKE PROGRAM ALLOCATIONS.
