Abstract: THE PURPOSE OF THE TELEPHONE SURVEY IS TO DETERMINE HOW AFDC RECIPIENT WHOSE CASES WERE DISCONTINUED AND WHO HAVE NOT RETURNED TO AFDC HAVE ALTERED THEIR BEHAVIOR IN RESPONSE TO THEIR LOSS OF AFDC INCOME.
