Abstract: AN ECONOMIC ANALYSIS IS REQUIRED BY DOD DIRECTIVE 4275.5 TO JUSTIFY CAPITAL EQUIPMENT ACQUISITIONS. THIS ANALYSIS COMPARES OPERATING AND CAPITAL COST ELEMENTS FOR EXISTING EQUIPMENT VERSUS PROPOSED REPLACEME EQUIPMENT. THE DD 1106 PROVIDES A SIMILIFIED FORMAT FOR DOCUMENTING THIS ECONOMIC ANALYSIS.
