Abstract: THE RIGHT TO FINANCIAL PRIVACY ACT OF 1978 REQUIRES A SPECIFIC AUTHORIZATION FORM BE PROVIDED TO FIN. INSTITUTIONS FOR THE ROUTINE DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL FINANCIAL INFORMATION. THIS FORM WILL ASKED OF FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS CONCERNING CHECKING, SAVINGS & OTHER TYPES OF BANK ACCTS. THE INFORMATION RECEIVED WILL BE USED TO ESTABLISH, IN PART, SSI ENTITLEMENT AND AFDC PAYMENTS.
