Abstract: THROUGH ACQUIRING SURVEY DATA ON METAL AND NONMETAL MINING MACHINES AND ASSOCIATED OPERATORS AND ANALYZING THE INFORMATION, ESSENTIAL PARAMETERS FOR THE MACHINE AND OPERATORS WILL BE DETERMINED. THESE PARAMETERS WILL HELP THE BUREAU AND MINE SAFETY AND HEALTH ADMINISTRATION FOCUS ON MORE SPECIFIC EQUIPMENT SAFETY NEEDS.
