Abstract: RULE 242 PROVIDES A LIMITED EXEMPTION FROM THE REGISTRATION PROVISIONS OF THE SECURITIES ACT FOR CERTAIN OFFERS AND SALES OF SECURITIES BY QUALIFYING ISSUERS. FORM 242 PROVIDES THE COMMISSION WITH THE INFORMATION NECESSARY TO ASSESS THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE EXEMPTION AND TO MONITOR COMPLIANCE WITH THE RULE.
