Abstract: 26 U.S.C. 3302 ALLOWS A CREDIT AGAINST TAX FOR THE AMOUNT OF CONTRIBUTIONS PAID TO STATE UNEMPLOYMENT FUNDS. IF THE AMOUNT CLAIMED AS A CREDIT DIFFERS FROM THE AMOUNT PAID TO THE STATE, FORM 5245 IS SENT TO THE TAXPAYER TO DETERMINE THE REASON FOR THE DISCREPANCY.
