Abstract: RULE 15BC3-1, PROVIDES THAT A NOTICE OF WITHDRAWAL FROM REGISTRATION AS A BANK MUNICIPAL SECURITIES DEALER IS TO BE FILED ON FORM MSDW. FORM MSDW, FIRST ADOPTED BY THE COMMISSION ON JUNE 14, 1976, IS NEEDED BY THE COMMISSION TO DETERMINE WHETHER IT IS IN THE PUBLIC INTEREST TO PERMIT A BANK MUNICIPAL SECURITIES DEALER TO WITHDRAW ITS APPLICATI AND TO GIVE CERTAIN INFORMATION TO THE PUBLIC.
