Abstract: 26 U.S.C. 992 AND 993 REQUIRE CORPORATIONS THAT WISH TO BE TREATED AS A DOMESTIC INTERNATIONAL SALES CORPORATION TO FILE AN ELECTION ON FORM 4876. IF FORM 4876 IS INCOMEPLETE OR IF THE TAXPAYER IS INELIGIBLE TO BE TREATED AS A DISC, WE ISSUE A 559C REQUESTING INFORMATION FROM THE TAXPAYER. INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY TAXPAYER IS USED TO PROCESS FORM 4876.
