Abstract: 26 U.S.C. 6404 AUTHORIZES THE IRS TO MAKE ADJUSTMENTS ON TAX LIABILITY PER CLAIMS FILED BY THE TAXPAYER. TO PROPERLY PROCESS THE CLAIMS AND ALLOW REFUNDS (26 U.S.C. 6402) IT IS NECESSARY TO HAVE COMPLETE INFORMATION AS REQUESTED BY THIS LETTER.
