Abstract: SUBMISSION IS REQUIRED OF EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURERS TO PROVIDE DATA AND TO OBTAIN REGISTRATION OF TELEPHONE EQUIPMENT PURSUANT TO FCC RULES. TESTS ARE CONDUCTED AND THE DATA SUBMITTED IS USED TO DETERMINE THAT SUCH EQUIPMENT WILL NOT CAUSE HARM TO THE TELEPHONE NETWORK.
