Abstract: REPORT COLLECTS INFORMATION ON BUSINESS LOANS TO SELECTED INDUSTRIES FROM A SUBSET OF THE LARGEST BANKS THAT FILE ON FR 2416 REPORT. THIS REPORT IS SHORT RUN INDICATOR OF THE STRENGTH OF BUSINESS LOAN DEMANDS, BY VARIOUS INDUSTRIES, AND IS USED TO MONITOR CREDIT DEVELOPMENTS AT BANKS, AND THE EFFECTS OF SEASONAL BORROWING PATTERNS IN DEFFERENT INDUSTRIES FOR ANALYTICAL AND REGULATORY PURPOSES.
